My experience with Dr Banerjee was unbelievable, He did all the tests necessary for a true diagnosis of what was happening to me. Which other GP's and other specialists had dismissed. I was misdiagnosed with T2. His attention to details and care, led to a diagnosis of Non Diabetic Late Reactive Hypoglycaemia. during the tests and consultancy, he confirmed his theories and advised me on dietary advice and use BG testing and food diary to determine my future dietary needs. He was always open to suggestions and often we discussed his ideas and he listened to mine as I learned how this condition impacted my life. Due to life, things have not gone smoothly, but I knew that the doctor was there. We did drug trials and were successful in discovering how this could help others. I was patient A in this trial, and the paper was published. and I was finally released from his care, as both agreed it was unnecessary to go to appointments, as I was doing so well. I remember an appointment, when I described my condition to a few students and not only were they impressed but so was Dr Banerjee. I recommend this specialist so much. He did in some ways save my life. Thank you so much Doctor.

I saw this delightful doctor as part of my diabetes care. He is caring, dedicated, understanding and also funny. He explains things clearly and in simple terms, not using all the medical terms that I don't understand

I met Dr Bannerjee as a type1 Diabetic patient today. Dr Bannerjee explained what the appointment aim was today. I had a thorough review of my condition. This included transfer of information from my Insulin pump, this was as a result of my allowing a software update on my Android phone which did not allow the continued downloading of my information direct to the clinic. My blood pressure was taken, as a result my medication was adjusted. My cholesterol result was communicated and within the acceptable range. We discussed my smoking habit and alcohol intake, height measured weight taken. I discussed with Dr Bannerjee the prolific coverage of multiple lipoma. I explained that the lipoma interfered with my insulin delivery. I was advised that currently Lipoma would not be treated by the NHS as it is deemed as a cosmetic procedure as opposed to needing medical intervention. I informed Dr Bannerjee that I would continue to pursue a second opinion. The need to change my insulin reservoir and canula site on a three day cycle, a complete overview was delivered by Dr Bannerjee why this was of utmost importance. In conclusion, the appointment was relaxed, I had time to covey my concerns in a timely manner without feeling pressurised whatsoever. I would duly recommend Dr Bannerjee to any patient suffering from Diabetes.
